Mary Lee Cupp

Mary Lee “Jo” Cupp, 82, passed away November 30th, at her home in Russellville, TN.  She was a devoted member of Three Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  Mary Lee worked for many years as an administrative assistant for the Berkline Corporation in Morristown. She then helped her husband found and operate Wilder-Cupp Pallet Company in Russellville.  She loved the community of Three Springs and had many friends and relatives there.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Cecil Lee Cupp; father and mother, Alonzo Rudolph and Hattie Belle (Tomlinson) Harmon, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Dedrick Harris, and her niece, Glenna Wolfe. 

Mary Lee is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and John Ellenburg; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jonas and Andie Applegate; and a great grandson, Elijah; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Jean and Gary Brown, Janice and W.K. Walker; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The family would like to thank the helpful staff of Amedisys and her special long-term caregiver, Becky Rose.

Her wonderful spirit, joy, and life will be celebrated from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 4th at Allen Funeral Home in Morristown.  The funeral service will follow at 8 o’clock.  Pastor James Gill will be officiating.  Interment will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens the following day at 11 a.m. 

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be sent to the Alzheimer Association (act.alz.org) or the Pat Summitt Foundation (patsummitt.org).
