Melanie Dawn Mowl

Melanie Mowl, 73, of Bean Station, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home.  She was preceded in death by sons, Michael Mowl Sr. and Luther B. Mowl III, and mother, Alpha Marie Etherton.  She was a member of the Eastern Star Bean Station Lodge.  

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Luther Mowl; sons, Tim (Mylissia) Mowl Sr.; Michael (Katherine Koning) Mowl, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Marie Brockwell; grandchildren, Amanda (Ephraim) Eggers, Kim (Bryan) Townsend, Rachel (Brent) Carlyle; Timothy (Debbie) Mowl, Jr., Josh Mowl, Justin (Elizabeth Harville) Mowl, Jordan Mowl; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mack Everhart; sisters Denise Shipley; Nina Delise, and half-sisters, Robin and Lynn.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Thursday, April 5, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 in Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
