Sharon Edna (Collins) Long

Sharon Edna Long, 68, of Morristown, passed away early Saturday morning, at her home, April 21, 2018.  

She is survived by her husband, David Long; daughter, Melinda Mahan (David Flowers); son, Donnie (Angelia) Long; grandchildren, Julie (Andrew) Myers, Rebecca (Nick) Emory, Ryan and Kiser Mahan, Seth Long, Shane (Rachel) Turner and Tessa Turner; great-grandchildren, Braylon Myers, Rhylee Emory, Levi Turner, and Addilyn Turner; sister, Ruth (Kenneth) Banner; and brother Robert “Bobby” (Phyllis) Collins.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Nell Collins; brothers, Thomas Collins and John “Bernard” Collins; sisters, Shirley “Phoebe” Massey and Wanda Kesterson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Monday, April 23, 2018 in the West Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 8:00 with Reverend Donnie Myers officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Bethesda Cemetery.
