In Loving Memory of Laura Belle (White) Foster
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Laura Belle (White) Foster, 84, of Russellville, TN, who gracefully transitioned to her heavenly home on April 20, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion cherished by her beloved husband of 63 years, Robert “Howard” Foster. They were blessed with 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Laura Belle’s journey was marked by kindness and love, touching the lives of many. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter, Lisa (Foster) Manning; her grandchildren, Candice (Ben) Whitson, Casie (Adam) Wilson, Timmy (Emilie) Manning, and Casha (Josh) Mayberry; along with her great-grandchildren, Brylie Barker, Emrie Whitson, Evan Whitson, Braxton Mayberry, Brynnox Wilson, Ellie Whitson, Parks Mayberry, Brayslie Wilson, and Leena Manning.
In addition to her immediate family, Laura Belle is survived by her sisters, Dora Barnette, Delorse Miller, and Ina Marie Shultz; brother, Frank (LaRae) White; sister-in-law, Imogene White; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and church family.
Laura Belle was preceded in death by her son, Rocky Allen Foster; parents, Douglas and Stella White; sisters, Martha Lou Bentley and Mary Hill; and brother, Reverend Buddy White.
Laura Belle was a woman of faith and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She found peace in the beauty of nature, especially the tranquility of the great outdoors. She played and coached softball for many years. As a dedicated member of the Morristown community, she was honored as the first lady in the Parks and Recreation Hall of Fame, a testament to her passion for enhancing the lives of others through recreational sports.
Laura Belle’s presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she served so diligently. Her legacy of love, strength, and dedication will forever inspire and guide those fortunate enough to know her.
Arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of Allen Funeral Home in Morristown, TN. Visitation to celebrate Laura Belle’s life will be held in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 PM with the funeral service to follow. The funeral procession for Laura will take place on April 24, 2024, at 9:15 AM starting from Allen Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to join in remembrance as we escort Laura to her final resting place at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Upon arrival, the graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM officiated by Pastor Scott Greene and Pastor Lance Cummings.
