Aileen (Courtney) Early

Aileen Courtney Early, age 87, passed away December 23, 2018 at the Heritage Center.  She was retired from Shelby-Williams and a faithful member of Catherine Nenney Baptist Church, having served as pianist and church clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Early; parents, Fred and Mary Courtney; brother, Eugene Courtney; son-in-law, Bob Gronewald; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Range. 

She is survived by daughters, Janet (Gale) Holdway, Deb Gronewald, Karen (Ronnie) Cassell, Sue (Terry) Burns; Grandson Brandon Cassell of Huntington, WV; granddaughter, Lauren (Andrew) Jurbergs of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Lydia; sister, Margie Range; brother, M.R. (Carol) Courtney; nieces, Staci, Tina, and Sasha; and nephew Robbie. 

The family will receive friends from 9-11am, Thursday, December 27, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  A private family graveside service, with family friend Charles Courtney leading,will be held after the visitation in Catherine Nenney Church Cemetery.
