Betty Jean Carter

Betty Jean Lovin Carter, 84, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 10, 2019.  She was a member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Carter; parents, Brownlow and Della Lovin; brothers, Kenneth and Bill Lovin; and Step-granddaughter, Rachel Reinhardt. 

Survivors include her son, Keith (Martha) Carter; step-granddaughter, Sarah Reinhardt; step-great-granddaughter, Madyson Shannon; sister, Maxine Lovin Callicutt; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8 PM, with Reverends Scott Greene and Kenny Cole officiating.  Private graveside services will be held in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
