Carol Beth (West) Travis

Carol West Travis, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2018 after a lengthy illness, but now she is whole and complete with her Savior.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Travis; parents, Vernon and Connie West; and sister, Wilma Sue Roop. 

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Anthony) Jones; grandchildren, Kristi (Craig) Seals, and Zach (Jamie) Jones; great-grandchildren, Leyah and Landon Seals; brother, Tom (Alma) West; nephews, Rob (Teresa) Wampler, Craig (Elaine) West; niece, Pat (Kelly) Burnett; and many loved great nephews and nieces. 

She was saved at the age of 13 and a member of Fairview Bible Baptist Church for 47 years where she served with the Willing Workers.  

A special thank you to Corbin and Kathy at Smoky Mountain Hospice, Heritage Nursing Home, and DeWitt Place for their great care during her journey. 

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 4th, at 7:00pm in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bobby Helton and Rev. Craig Seals officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Graveside and burial services will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Thursday, April 5that 11:00am.
