Cora Mae (Hollifield) Wilson

Cora Mae Wilson, 80, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 31, 2019.  She was of the Baptist faith.  She retired from Berkline.  Cora was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles “Smiley” Wilson; parents, Carl and Martha Hollifield; brothers, Bill Hollifield, Paul Hollifield and sister, Zella Malone.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Wilson Drinnon; son, Dennis (Tina) Wilson; grandchildren, Tanya Lewelling; Jeffrey (Carlee) Rymer; Jeremy (Pansy) Rymer; Aaron (Carrie) Wilson; great grandchildren, Jonna Miller, Colby Rymer, Jaylan Taylor, Christian Rymer, Lexi Brown and great-great granddaughter, Allie Miller; sisters Betty Baxley and Edna Lakins; special friend, Ronnie Lewelling as well as several nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to express a special thanks to all of the health care workers who provided care for Cora over the last few years.

Funeral services are planned for 1:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the East chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Jeremy Rymer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the funeral service.  Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
