Deloris Ann (Graves) Hurley

Deloris Hurley 82, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 3, 2019.  She retired from Hamblen County Board of Education and taught at Fairview Marguerite and East Ridge Middle School.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Whitesburg.  Deloris was a proud member of U.T. Cancer Survivors Group and Order of the Eastern Star.  She cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Grace Graves and husband, Dee Hurley.  Survivors include her step-children Mark (Kay) Hurley and Sandy (Chris) Pizzini; grandchildren, Caitlyn Hurley, Meghan Hurley, Matthew Hurley, Joey Pizzini and Marissa Pizzini; great-grandchildren, Lucas Hurley, Chloe Slagle, Ava Rypel; special cousins, John and Wilma Graves, as well as several other special family members.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 pm Saturday January 5, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverends Charlie Brewer, LeRoy Davis and Ira Ginn officiating.  Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
