Doris Lane (Williams) McKee, 68, passed away peacefully Friday, June 14 due to cancer. She was born September 6, 1950 in Cleveland, OH to James and Ruby Lane.
Doris graduated from Morristown West High School in 1969. She loved playing basketball and was MVP at Witt School. She worked at Anchor-Brush for several years in the 1980’s. Her hobbies were growing flowers, watching sports and going out to eat with her loving husband. They loved to take walks and play with their beloved dog, Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Raymond Lee Williams; brothers, Johnny Randall Lane and James Prime Lane, Jr.; sister, Janice Marie Moore.
Doris is survived by her husband, Paul Edward “Ed” McKee of 22 years; daughter, Sherry Leigh and husband Glen Dixon and their children, Alisha Dixon and Brittany Dixon, all of Morristown; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Noel and husband, Johnny Greene and their children, Jake Greene and Landon Greene, all of Palm Harbor, FL; brother, Jack Phillip Lane; step-children Paul (Eddie) McKee III and wife Pam of Morristown, their children, Caleb McKee of Ft. Hood, TX and Eleni McKee of Orlando, FL; Ben McKee and wife Heather; their children, Logan and Jackson McKee, all of Murfreesboro, TN; Beau McKee and wife Rebecca and their children, Emma and Denver all of Knoxville, TN.; Ashley Taylor and husband Jeff and their daughter, Kristina, all of Bean Station, TN.; sister, JoAnne Quinn; several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services are planned for 7:00 pm Monday, June 17, 2019 the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Burford officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 prior to the service. Entombment services are planned for 11:00 am Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, in Jefferson City, TN.
