Edith Rae Matthews

Edith Duff Matthews, 83 passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Terry Hicks; grandson, Scott (Beth) Long and two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Jerry Long; son-in-law, Bobby Barnes, three step-grandchildren, Amanda, Miranda and Jacob Barnes.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Barnes and parents, Ray and Grace Duff.

Funeral services are planned for 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Hicks officiating.

Special music will be provided by Tim Horner and Beth Long.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 prior to the service.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Historic Bethesda cemetery.

Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
