Elizabeth "Lisa" Mary (Denton) Day

Elizabeth Mary Denton Day “Lisa”, age 49, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.  Lisa will be remembered for her happy, funny personality, and her love of people.  She was a graduate of Morristown East High School, and Walters State Community College LPN and RN programs. Lisa was a nurse at the University of Tenn. Medical Center for a number of years, where she loved her patients, and they loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Denton; grandparents J.P. and Mary Burns Beets, and Charles and Jean Denton.  

Lisa is survived by her much loved daughters, Lauren and Brooke Day; mother Janet Beets  Dugger; stepfather David Dugger; brother Zachary Dugger; and many, many special friends whom she dearly loved.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 31, in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A celebration of Lisa’s life will follow at 7 pm, with Rev. Wil Cantrell officiating.
