Eugene Lamb

Eugene Lamb, age 75, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.   He was saved at an early age at Rock Bridge Baptist Church; and was an ordained Missionary Baptist Deacon and a member of Three Springs Missionary Baptist Church.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bryant & Ida Harvey (who raised him) and his mother, Pauline Gordon.

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 58 years, Bertha Lamb; daughter (Daddy’s girl) Robin and son-in-law, Ronnie (Bo) Jarnigan, who was like a son; grandson, Logan Jarnigan, who was his sidekick; and Allen Chaince Harris; brother, Junior Lamb; Amy Carter, who was called their adopted daughter and sister by the family; aunt; Maxine Wilder, along with a brother-in-law and sister-in-laws and a  host of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Three Springs Missionary Baptist Church prior to the funeral service at 6:00 with Stanley Carpenter and Charley Johnson officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 2:00 pm Sunday June 9, 2019 in Big Hill Cemetery in Mooresburg, TN.
