Hugh B. Watkins

Hugh B. Watkins, 89, formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Dominion Senior Living in Bristol.  He was Vice President of Lea-Wayne Knitting Mills and worked there for over 40 years. He was also a longtime member of Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Margaret Maples Watkins; parents, Will and Jenny Watkins of Rutledge, TN; brother, Harold Watkins.

He is survived by his two sons Richard (Janice) Watkins of Palm Coast, FL; Stephen (Phyllis) Watkins of Blountville, TN; granddaughter, Courtney (Britt) Stone of Bluff City, TN; two great grandsons, Eli and Judah Stone of Bluff City, TN, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Jack Hartman presiding.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church; 707 Noe’s Chapel Road; Morristown, Tn.  37814.
