Jerrry Dennis Sutton

Jerry Dennis Sutton of Morristown passed away at UT Medical Center surrounded by loved ones on December 30.  He was a passionate drummer playing with The Bybee Beats and EXIT among other local bands over a 30 year span, and a master tree trimmer/cutter as owner and operator of Jerry's Tree Service fo 15 years. He grew up on Cosby and spent his childhood playing in his back yard of the National Park. He loved nature, music, and his family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Georgia Sutton of Cosby, sister Barbara, brother Junior, and sister Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Sutton of Morristown; son, Jeremy Sutton with fiance' Sara Crawford of Morristown; daughter, Carmella Sutton with fiance' Lee Byrd of Cherokee, NC; son, Jared Sutton of Sevierville; (step)daughter Stacy Mcracken with husband Curtis of Morristown. Also survived by 3 granddaughters: Rachel Styles of Cosby, Kelsey Christensen of Sevierville, and Caylin Brown of Gatlinburg; grandsons Patrick McCracken and Dakota Mcracken, and grandson-to-be Sebastian McCracken. Also honorary granddaughter Katie Clark. 

The family will receive friends at Allen Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan 2, from 5 to 8 PM, with services to follow at 8.
