JoAnn Vivian (Gorman) McKinney

JoAnn Gorman McKinney, 80, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. 

Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise McKinney Hodges; her parents, Ernest and Irene Gorman; her brothers, Jim (Peggy) Gorman, John (Billie) Gorman, and L.S. (Lena) Gorman; sisters, Gladys (Carl) Eddington, Betty McKinney, Eva Warner, and Shirley (Robert) Clement; niece Annette Self; nephew, Roger Gorman and great-nephew, Gary McKinney. 

She is survived by her husband, of 62 years, Harold E. McKinney; daughter, Rita Sexton; Grandchildren, Erica Hodges (Jeremy) Stidham, of Morristown, and Candice Hodges (Jeff) Hinkle, of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Hunter Rickard, of Morristown, and Remington Hinkle, of Knoxville; brother and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as special close family friend, Mary Knight.   

A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the Chapel Garden of Hamblen Memory Gardens, with Rev. Danny Lamb officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Serenity House, 421 North High Street, Morristown, TN 37814.
