John F. Gamble

John F. Gamble, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018.   He worked as a mechanical engineer for General Electric and the Tennessee Valley Authority.   John was a devout Christian with a heart for others and a deacon at Hillcrest Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and an avid fisherman.  

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Naomi Gamble; children, John Edward (Liz) Gamble of Clarksville, TN, Sheila Boggs of Cincinnati, OH, and Todd (Victoria) Gamble of Dandridge, TN; brother, Eddie Gamble of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Joseph, Kiya, Evelyn, Christopher Gage, Makayla, and Xander, as well as several nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Anglers for Christ Ministries, Inc., 2224 Fish Hatchery Rd., Morristown, TN 37813, or Hillcrest Baptist Church Youth Ministries, 410 South Liberty Hill Road, Morristown, TN 37813.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM, Monday, May 28, 2018 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at noon with Reverend David Williams officiating.  Interment will follow the funeral services in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
