Kemp Vincent Lawson

Kemp V. Lawson, 56, passed away suddenly to be with his heavenly Father April 18, 2019.  He was of a strong Christian faith and professed it at an early age.  He felt most at home in the mountains.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Marshall H. Lawson and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melissa Lawson; mother, Elsie Lawson; siblings Sharron Anderson, Danny (Julia) Lawson and Donna Payne; special nephew, David Daniel and family; Joshua Lawson and family as well as special nieces and nephews and beloved cousins

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Monday, April 22, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral prior to the service at 8:00 with Reverend Bill Lawson officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Bent Creek Cemetery.
