Marlene Kay (Davis) Hodge

Marlene Kay Hodge “Tootie”, 76, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord peacefully, Thursday, June 28, 2018.  She was saved at a young age and was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a volunteer, substitute, and teachers aid for various schools in Morristown.  She retired from Russellville Elementary as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tinsley Davis and Stella Mae Spoon Davis; mother and father-in-law Gurn and Nell Hodge.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Billy Hodge; children, Sonia Hodge and Lisa (Donnie) Collins; granddaughter, Chelsea (Spencer) Graves; sister, Linda (Cecil) Edwards; half- brother, Tinsley (Judy) Davis; nephew, Brian (Becky) Edwards and their children, Brandon and Bradley Edwards.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the Celebration of Life service at 7:00 with Reverend Larry Miller officiating.
