Mary Frances (Potter) Hayes, 84, long- time resident of Morristown, was peacefully united with her Savior and family in heaven on Oct 25, 2019.
She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her daughter, Debra Hayes, of Dayton, OH. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Beula (Townsend) Shelby of Seattle, WA and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hurdle Hayes; four grandsons, Randall, Isaac, Stefan and Ephraim; parents, Ralph and Emma Potter; father and mother-in-law, Everett and Vernia Hayes; sisters, Kotella (DC) Cupp, Ruth (Porter) Matthews, Wanda (Clifford) Hinkle; brothers, Ralph (Juanita) Potter and Ray Potter; sisters-in-law, Marie (Bill) Darden and Eula (Paul) Mauer; brother-in-law Hildred (Fran) Hayes; nieces, Jeannie Lane and Rita Hudgens; nephew, Harvey Hayes.
The one word that best describes her is “love”. Anyone who spent any time with her felt the unconditional caring that flowed from her heart.
She and her late husband, Hurdle Hayes, touched many lives together through their business, The Minute Market (Wykle’s Market). She also worked 29 years at Wal-Mart with many friends she loved like family.

Friends will be received from 5:00–7:00 prior to the service. Graveside services will be 10:30 am Saturday November 23, 2019 at Hamblen Memory Gardens lead by her nephew Lucas Hinkle.
