Mary Pauline “Polly” Wilson, 86, of Morristown, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church where she also participated in the Joyful Hearts, which she dearly loved. She was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. Polly retired from Berkline after 40+ years of service. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and antiquing.
Preceding Polly in death are her husband, Nelson “Ike” Wilson; parents James F Turley and Grace W Turley; brothers James “Jimmy,” Charles, and William “Bill” Turley; sisters Doris Helton and Celia Turley.
Survivors include her son, Mark (Robyn) Wilson; grandchildren Adam (Casie) Wilson, Bailee and Jackson Wilson; great grandchildren Brylie Barker and Brynnox Wilson; brother Donald (Phyllis) Turley; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the many staff and friends at Regency Retirement Village and The Heritage Center.
The family will receive friends 12:00 -1:00pm Tuesday, June 26, at First United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Rev. Walter Weikel officiating. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Revelation Youth Choir.
