Michael Wayne Lewis

Michael Wayne Lewis, 53, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home.  He was a longtime member of McBride Missionary Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wayne and Lucy Lewis.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Sharon Lewis; daughter, Samantha (Christopher) Liner; son, Zachary Wayne Lewis; grandchildren, Kaden Liner; Justin “Bubba” Dalton Jr., Abby and Emily Lewis; brother, Mark Edward Lewis as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 am Thursday, July 12, 2018 at McBride Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Carroll Jarnigan and Roger Porter presiding.  Michael will be laid to rest with his family in McBride Cemetery.
