Patricia (Carpenter) Blanken

Patricia Carpenter Blanken age 55, of Bean Station, was born December 8, 1962 and passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.  She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, daughter and sister.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Patricia was saved at an early age and was a member of Lakeshore Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Esco and Dorsie Dalton, Paul and Ethel Carpenter; mother-in-law, Shirley Blanken and cousin, Preston Dalton.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jimmy Blanken; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Blankenship; grandsons, who were the love of their Nana’s life, Andrew and Will Blankenship; parents, Buford “Boot” and Marie Carpenter; brothers, Kermit (Melinda) and Keith (Jennifer) Carpenter; nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Dustin, Skylar, Ryan (Brook), Laken, Kaitlyn and Storm Carpenter; father-in-law, Palmer “Gramps” Blanken as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for 12:00pm Thursday, December 6, 2018 also in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverends Arnold Dalton, Lowell Welch and Lonnie D. Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeshore Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
