Paul Haun, 79, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018. He was a longtime member of Catherine Nenney Baptist Church in Whitesburg. He was a Navy Veteran in the VR24 unit. He was a member of Kyle Lodge #422 for fifty years, and a 32nddegree Scottish Rite member. Paul was also active in the Order of the Eastern Star and Order of the Amaranth.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Lenna Haun; sisters and brothers, Glen Haun, Garnett Haun, Dennis Haun, C.T. Haun, Kenneth Haun, Wayne Haun, Grace Reid, and June Fields. Also, his grandchild Victoria Lee-Elen Trent.
He leaves behind his Special friend of 33 years Ruby Griffin; her children; Beverly, Randy, and Branson Griffin; his grandchildren Ruby Trent, Rebekah (Doug) Belcher, Brandi Griffin, Leeann Griffin, Bubba (Yvonne) Griffin, and Branson (Beth) Griffin; great grandchildren Caleb Trent, Madison Clark, Austin Hammontree, Phoenix Moody, Purity Griffin, Ainsley Griffin, Brantlee Griffin, and Ellie Griffin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Monday, August 6, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Masonic rights and funeral services will follow at 7pm with Kyle Lodge #422, James Ramsey, Mike Haun, Billy Seals, and Garnett Reid officiating. Interment will be 11 am, Tuesday, in Catherine Nenney Cemetery.
