On January 10th, 2019 Perry Robert Davis Sr. was called home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents Grady C. Davis and Beryl P. Davis, brother John C. Davis, sister Daiselle Veach all of Selma, Alabama, a son Paul Derek Davis and grandson James Dean Harney of North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife Ernestine “Teenie” Davis (Selma, Alabama), son Perry Davis Jr and wife Dee Dee Davis (Morristown Tn) Daughter Kelly and husband Mark Parlier (Granite Falls, N.C.), Daughter Laura Williams (Lenoir, N.C.) daughter by marriage Robin and Mike Irwin, son Craig and TC Stull. Grandchildren Ashley and Shane Williams, Zack and Katie Causby, Austin and Elizabeth Davis, Derek and Jessica Causby, Justin Williams, Steven Parlier, Davis Williams, Whitney Smith, Wesley and Delaney Smith, Kelsey and Nick Messer and 15 great-grandchildren.

He is remembered as a good dad and grandfather that loved the Lord, family and playing old-time dobro music. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 14th, 2019 at 2 PM Hamblen Memorial Gardens in Morristown. His son Perry and grandson Austin will conduct the service.
