Phyllis Childress Jones

Phyllis Childress Jones, 72, of Morristown, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at The Heritage Center in Morristown.  She was preceded in death by her     husbands, Ray Childress and James Jones Sr; parents, Henry McBee and Martha Caudill, along with a brother, Dennis McBee.

She is survived by her children, Charles Childress; Leann (Dennis) Singleton; and Chris Childress; grandchildren, Blake Childress, Ethan Childress, Sean Singleton, and Elizabeth Singleton; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Buford McBee of Florida and Stanley (Anna) McBee of New Mexico; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 8:00 with Reverend Robert Hamilton officiating. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
