Joy was a member of Morningside Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She worked for the Hamblen County School System at Morristown Hamblen High School East in their resource center working with handicapped children for 20+ years. Joy was a servant in the truest sense, whether she was caring for her immediate family or extended children at Morristown-Hamblen High School East or her church family sending get-well wishes, birthday and miss-you cards. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers to honor Joy’s love for her church, please send donations “in memory of Joy Wampler,”to Morningside Baptist Church’s building fund.
