Preston Tyler Ford

Preston Tyler Ford, 21, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017.  He was a faithful member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church in Morristown and beloved Drummer Boy.  Preston had a contagious smile and the ability to bring laughter and joy to everyone he came in contact with.  He was kindhearted and loved everyone.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Ford and Ruby Derrick; special great aunt and great uncle Jackie and H.S. Skelton.

Preston is survived by his mother, Barbara Derrick Ford; father, Jeff Ford (Robin); sister, Lindsey Ford; grandparents, Charlie Derrick and Astra Ford; uncle Mark Ford; special second family, Chris, Becky, Philip and Andrew Dotson; special friend, Frank Roberts; several other family members and friends too numerous to mention.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peace Free Will Baptist Church; 600 South Davy Crockett Pkwy.; Morristown, Tn.  37813

The family will receive friends at Peace Free Will Baptist Church from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday, November 27, 2017 prior to the service at 7:00 with Pastors Chris Dotson, Bill Houk and Jesse Hartgrove officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Bethesda Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Ford, Frank Roberts, Kenny Lane, Moe Harris, Ben Eskola, Brian Chesteen, Roger Overholt, and Billy Shelton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Dotson and Andrew Dotson.
