Lisa “Regina” Huskey, 56, of Bean Station passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, Friday, February 2, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. She worked at BASF for 10 years and Assured Castings in Rogersville for 8 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Trula Lawson Horton; grandparents, Rufus and Quinnie Belle Lawson and George P. and Maria Gibson Horton.
She is survived by her children, Miranda Haynes, Mindy Monday, Jamie(Brandy) Huskey and Dylan Wilburn; eight grandchildren, Jada Huskey, Maddie Crawford, Mason Haynes, Jackson Crawford, Eli Huskey, Christian Blackburn, Micah Blackburn and Elijah Blackburn Huskey; sisters, Rita Griffen, Freeda James, Diane Horton, and a brother, Billy Joe Horton; nieces and nephews, John Griffen, Shannon Griffen, Kellie Ramsey, Jessie Ramsey, Leanne Graves, Nikki Cole, Mackinzie Kitts and beloved great-nephew, Waylon Graves as well as many more great-nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurse Kathy of Smoky Mountain Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Monday, February 5, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home; funeral services will follow at 7pm with Steve Roach and Frank Allen officiating. Graveside services will be 11am, Tuesday, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
