Teresa Ann Perrin went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, March 27, 2018, after her battle with cancer.
A native to Grainger County, Teresa was born to Henley Atkins and Ilene Mills on April 19, 1961. She was the General Manager at Bean Station Utility District where she worked for 38 years. Teresa loved spending time with her family and gardening. Teresa loved the Lord and loved to serve Him. She was saved at the age of 8. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesburg. She touched the lives of so many people with her kindness.
Teresa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Lula Holt and her father, Henley Atkins.

Mother: Ilene Mills, Siblings: Jeff (Christina) Atkins, Melissa (David) Stuffle, and Denver Mills, children: Ashley (Joe) Johnson, Rachel (Jimbo) McHaffie, and Josh (Sarah) Perrin, Granddaughter: Jacey Perrin, Nieces and Nephews: Brittany (Sam) Holt, Jessica (Chad) Barnard, Derek (Kristie) Stuffle, and Julia Atkins, Great-Nephew and Great-Niece: Brody and Aubrey Holt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Holston Valley Medical Center and also Avalon Hospice for the wonderful care they provided during this difficult time.
The funeral service will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Whitesburg Friday March 30th at 7pm with brothers Gary Satterfield and Allen Payne officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm prior to the service. Graveside service and burial will be held at Singleton-Holt cemetery in Thorn Hill at 10am on Saturday March 31, 2018. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Johnson, Jimbo McHaffie, Jeff Atkins, Denver Mills, David Stuffle, Derek Stuffle, Sam Holt, and Chad Barnard.
