Timothy P. Nunan

Timothy P. Nunan, 72, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System.  He served 12 years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and was active in scouting for many years including as a Scoutmaster for Troop 191.  He was a local Shepherd and raised Fallow Deer by trade.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sgt. Major Paul Duane Nunan and mother Shirley Blye Nunan of Syracuse, NY; brother, Daniel Ernest Nunan; and grandson, Adrian.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Karen Nunan; children, Bridget Leigh Miller; Paul Vincent Nunan, Elizabeth Anne (Cynthia Albertson) Nunan; Deirdre Marie Long and Daniel Prescott (Elaine) Nunan; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 Friday, April 26, 2019 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 7:00 with Dr. Howard Shipley officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation; MCSF.org.
