Tyler James Shaver, 15, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was a member of Bibleview BaptistChurch. Tyler was an avid runner, and was a member of the Morristown West High track team. He also played basketball, and loved to spend time with his friends and family. Tyler loved to make up songs to make people smile. He was always a little outrageous in order to make others happy. He loved music, especially the artist Eminem.
Survivors include his parents, Shaun and Nikki Russell; brother Nathan Turner; sister Cadie Russell; grandfather Jeff (Cherie) Hancock; grandmother Debra (Buck) Collins; uncles and aunt Kenny (Rachel) Hancock and Chris Hancock; special friends Chandler Roberts and Preston Woolridge; as well as several other friends and family members.
The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Monday, October 22, in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm. Interment will be 11 am Tuesday, October 23, in Emma Jarnagin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morristown West High Track Team, or the Morristown Parks and Recreation Dept.
