William Edgar Hall

William Edgar (W.E) Hall, 78, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was originally from Galax, VA.  He was an over the road truck driver for 48 years driving for Roadway and Schneider International.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Garnie (FG) and Holland Hall; wife, Barbara A. Hall, (Edna S. Yount, the mother of his children); brothers, Marvin Hall and Darrell Hall; sisters, Elaine East and Eugenia Tolliver.

He is survived by his sons, Kurt (Peggy) Hall of Whitesburg, Ken (Tonya) Hall of Morristown; daughters, Kelly Stump and Kerry Hall, who was his loving caregiver; grandchildren, Laura Hall Craig, McKenlee Hall (Mahayla Jarnigan), Charlee Bise and Terrie Linn Lawson; great-grandchildren, Bentlee Bise, Bradley Coldwell and Annzlee Hall; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice; especially, Susie and Pam for their loving care.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 3:00.  Graveside services and interment will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Everlasting Life Section of Hamblen Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
