Allen L. Cureton, born on September 5, 1955, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with illness.
Allen came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age and was baptized at Old Time Gospel Church in Newport, TN. He loved music and found joy in dancing, always bringing warmth and happiness to those around him. He also cherished the outdoors, spending many happy moments boating, fishing, and relaxing at his precious cabin by the lake. A talented brick mason, Allen learned his craft from his father and took great pride in his work, creating structures that stood as a testament to his dedication and skill.
Allen was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Samuel J. Cureton and Willie Mae Cureton, along with his brothers, Harry Cureton and Roy Cureton.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Diana (Rose) Cureton; his brothers, Samuel Cureton (Paulette) and Jimmy Cureton (Cindy); his daughters, Melissa Brooks (Lee), Amber Koerten (Jonathan), and Serenity Cureton; and his stepdaughters, Debbie Hill (Don) and Sandy Roach (Dave). Allen was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Allen's legacy is one of love and strength. His warmth, laughter, and kind heart will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
