Alvin "Bruce" McDaniel

Alvin “Bruce” McDaniel, 72, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 15, 2023.  He was baptized at a young age and was a longtime member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church.  Bruce was a longtime employee of Colboch Harley Davidson in Morristown.  He loved riding motorcycles, doing mission work, and traveling the world.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, William Penn and Effie Pearl McDaniel, and brother Joe McDaniel.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Deborah McDaniel; fur babies Fred and Sarge; sister, Phyllis (Gary) Stroud; mother-in-law, Wanda Mullins; brother-in-law, Larry (Doris) Ricker; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Reverend Donnie Myers officiating.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
