Andrew Franklin “Frank” Parvin, age 73, of Tazewell, formerly of Russellville, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. He was born on January 8, 1953. He retired from auto mechanic work and enjoyed car racing with his friends. Above all else Andrew Frank would want to be remembered for his love of his savior Jesus Christ, his faith was the foundation of his life. He was a member of Lee Valley Church. Andrew Frank will be leaving a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to his family.
Andrew is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Margaret Parvin; sisters, Jane Wilson and Linda Hileman; and brother, Randell Parvin.
Andrew is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lois Helton Parvin; sisters, Sue (Wayne) Long, Brenda Parvin, and Shirley Stepp; brothers, Wayne Parvin, Curtis Parvin, and Darwin Parvin; sisters-in-law, Jewell Helton and Barbara Parvin; brother-in-law, Ellis (Judy) Helton; as well as a host of niece and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM, on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM, officiated by Rev. Ronald Bunch and Rev. Dwayne Brewer. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Lee Valley Cemetery.
