Anne Smith DeBord

Anne Smith DeBord, 82 of Morristown, passed from this life into eternal life on Monday September 14, 2020 at the Heritage Center.

One of five children, Anne was born on December 6, 1937 to the late Charlie and Ruby Smith of Sneedville, Tn.  She graduated from Hancock High School in Sneedville, Tn.  She married her sweetheart, George, on October 19, 1958.

Anne professed our Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown, Tn.  

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George DeBord; sister, Clella Odom and infant sister, Geraldine Smith. 

She is survived by her sons Michael (Kathy) DeBord and Randy DeBord; grandsons whom she absolutely adored, Rand and Dylan DeBord and their mother Wanda DeBord; brother, Ken (Rowena) Smith and sister, Norma Martin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00pm Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00am Friday, September 18, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend Larry Parrott officiating.
