Obituary

Arlas Leo Fawver, 85, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 20, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.  He was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  He retired from Rockwell after over 15 years of service and was a farmer throughout his life.  He was a member of Kyles Lodge 422 F & AM.  He loved the Lord and his family.  He was a righteous man who will be dearly missed.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Betty Fawver; parents, Elbert and Pauline Fawver; sisters, Margie Odom and Fleta Cobb.

He is survived by his children, Nada (David) West; Timothy (Cindy) Fawver; Virgil (Connie Currier) Fawver; grandchildren, Nicholas (Tara) West, Eleana (Wes) Day, Tonya (Pete) Kniffen, Ashley Fawver; great-grandchildren, Connor and Peyton Day; Cadence West; Maddox and Jaxon Kniffen.

Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Monday, August 23, 2021, in Hamblen Memorial Gardens.  Due to the rise in COVID cases, those in attendance are asked to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.
