Obituary
Audrey Jean Campbell Brooks, 95, of Morristown, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brooks; parents, Horace and Gertrude Campbell; brothers, Ray, Paul, and Roy Campbell; sisters, Muriel Alger, and Mildred “Tootsie” Turnmire.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Brooks of Morristown; Chuck (Donna) Brooks of Russellville; grandchildren, Kevin (Aisha) Brooks of Limestone; Jack and Claire Brooks of Monroe, NC; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Alyssa and Liam Brooks of Limestone; brother-in-law, Hugh Brooks of Greer, SC; special friend, Joanie Cody; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Audrey retired after 36 years of teaching school. She loved spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and making quilts.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1960 and devoted much of her life to her faith. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home.
