Benny “Smiley” Hodges, 75, of Morristown, passed away February 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was a member of Bridgers United Methodist Church, was a U S Army Veteran and served as a Military Policeman in the Vietnam War. He retired from Berkline Industries, and was a Vol for Life and especially loved the Lady Vols. He loved playing sports, especially baseball, softball and golf. He will be remembered for his kindness, smile and his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nannie Hodges; brothers, William “Bill” and Harold “Happy” Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kay Hodges; children, Kim (Scott) Delaney, Dustin (Lougena) Hodges, Ben (Traci) Hodges Jr; grandchildren, Kayla, Abbey, Kendall Hodges and Rachel McCloud; step-grandchildren, Shae Winstead, Blake and Courtney Delaney, and Zane, Kelsi, Tani and Evan Mancillas; great-granddaughter, Marlee Parker; special friends, Billy Seals, Charlie Harris, Billy Westmoreland, Mark Hodges; as well as several nieces and nephews.
