Bertha Kathryn (Bryant) Gulley

Bertha Kathryn Gulley, 100 of Morristown went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Ridgeview Terrace in Rutledge.  She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Whitesburg.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Gulley;  parents,  James (Jack) Bryant and Verdie Kathryn (Wallace) Bryant; sisters, Betty Jarnagin, Minnie Howard, Louise Gibson and Elizabeth Rowe all of Ohio, Josie Heck of Whitesburg, TN; brothers, Charley Bryant and Elmer Bryant of Tennessee and Clyde Bryant of Ohio. 

She is survived by her sister, Frances Henderson of Ohio and several nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. 

Special thanks to the nurses at Ridgeview Terrace and Hospice nurses for their love and care.  

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Bunch officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the funeral service.   Graveside services will be at 2:00 on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Phillipi Cemetery near Bulls Gap.
