Betty Jo (Sykes) Self

Betty Sykes Self, 82, of Russellville, passed away at her home November 10, 2018.  She was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Morristown and was retired from Morristown Utility Systems.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ethel Holston Sykes.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Doyle Self; sister, Delorice (Roy Gene) Bell; brother, Doug Sykes, all of Morristown; nieces, Bethany (Chad) Fields and  children, Caleb and Brandlin; Patti (Tom) Sawyer and Renee` Sykes; one nephew, Brandl (Celeste) Bell and son, Royston.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 8:00 with Reverends Danny Lamb and Travis Porterfield officiating.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Dover Cemetery.
