Betty W. Talbott

Betty W. Talbott, 97, of Morristown, died Friday, January 31, 2025, at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare.  She was a charter member of Westside Christian Church.  Betty was an avid Lady Vols basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. She was also a life-long bridge player with her husband, Gaston, until his passing and later, with her special friends.  Betty and Gaston also enjoyed bird watching together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston; parents, Arthur and Susan Moore White; brothers and sisters, Junior, Bertha Alice, George, Edith, Ernest, J.D., Bill, Mildred, Lena Fay, and Joann.

Betty is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and special great niece, Jamie Bosnjak and great nephew, Jordan McPherson

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday, February 7, in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Dr. Chris Rollston officiating.  Interment will be 11 am Saturday, February 8, in Sunderland Cemetery.
