He was dearly loved. Bill was a member of Calvue Baptist Church for over 50 years. He loved good preaching and gospel music. Bill was known for his love for the Lord and preached in surrounding counties. He was saved at a young age at Cedar Grove Church where he also attended school. Bill’s home was in the area and Cedar Grove left him many happy memories. He was filled with laughter, and joy and enjoyed flowers and making vegetable gardens. Bill was a carpenter, roofer and owner and operated Jackson’s Custom Slaughterhouse. He created the “CHRISTMAS HILL” at his home, several years ago. He only went through the 4th grade, but his home business and other endeavors were a success. Bill was truly blessed. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and papa.
Many thanks to Amedisys Hospice. They were such a blessing. Also, many thanks to two wonderful people, Mike Brotherton and Laura Shepard who helped so much during Bill’s sickness.
