Brenda Kaye (Seals) Crittenden, 72, of Whitesburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family. She was a member of Three Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Brenda retired from General Electric after over 15 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Ora Seals; sisters, Louise Marshall and Lois Burchell; infant brother, J.C. Seals; and great grandson, Jace Michael Musick.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Gary “Cotton” Crittenden; children, Tina Drinnon, April Johnson, Alan Crittenden; grandchildren, Amber Drinnon, Chris Johnson, Josh Drinnon, Tierra Johnson, Chelsey Johnson, and Kyndra Johnson; great grandchildren, Ian Drinnon, Josiah Johnson, and Jayden Johnson; sisters, Billie White, Janice (Bill) McBride, Cathy Stone, Teresa Manis, Robin Jones, and Missie Baxter; brother, Roger Dale Seals; and several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice of Morristown, especially nurse Jennifer Cansler and her sister/caregiver Robin Jones.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Friday, November 10, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 7:00pm with Pastor Stanley Carpenter officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 11th, in Creech’s Chapel Cemetery in Whitesburg, TN.
