Brenda Lee (Moore) Grooms

Brenda L. Grooms, 60, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at her home after an extended illness.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, June and Lizzie Moore; sister, Geraldine Pike and brother, Roger Moore.  She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Whitesburg and retired from Jefferson County Schools.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Grooms; son and daughter-in-law Chad (Ashley) Grooms; granddaughter, Ava Combs; brother and sister-in-law, Terry (Ginny) Grooms and brother-in-law, Harrison Grooms; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Saturday, November 10, 2018 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 2:00pm with Mitch Elkins officiating.  Interment will follow in Historic Bethesda Cemetery.
