Carolyn Anne Worthington Witherell Hart

Carolyn A. Worthington Witherell Hart, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Heritage Center. She was a long-time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Carolyn retired from Howmet following several years of service. She loved to spend her time traveling and shopping. Her favorites were seafood and the beach. 

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Thea and Lucille Worthington; brother, Charles E. Worthington; and special aunt, Nora McCarver White.

She is survived by her sons, John Kevin Witherell and Sean Eric (Chrissy) Witherell; grandchildren, Robert Sean Witherell, Alex Pierce, and Emmy Pierce; nephews, Larry and Todd Worthington; special friends, Joann Dickerson, Pam Kirk, Salva Wisecarver, Frankie Carpenter, and Sue Conduff as well as several extended family members. 

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM, on Monday, September 15, 2025, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM, with Rev. David Williams and Rev. Billy Lee officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Historic Bethesda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church; 410 South Liberty Hill Road; Morristown, TN. 37813.
