Charles T. "Tom" Bunch

Charles Thomas “Tom” Bunch, 83, passed away to his heavenly home Monday, November 14, 2022, after a brief illness.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Eliza Bunch; sister Virginia Whitehead; and nephew Steve Pease.  

Tom is survived by his wife Joyce Bunch; nieces Connie Pease and Gloria (Jared) Hurst; nephew Gary (Donna) Pease; and a wonderful family of friends.

He was a deacon at Morningside Baptist Church,  and retired from the Morristown Rescue Squad after 25 years of service.  Tom was a member of the Gideons International of Hamblen County.  He looked forward to going to work every day with his friends at the Cabinet Shop, and his friend Jim White.

The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Thursday, November 17,2022 at Morningside Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 7 pm, with Rev. Ross Woody and Rev. Dr. Kenny Boling officiating.  Interment will be 11 am Friday, November 18, 2022 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morningside Baptist Church Building Fund.  Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
