Charles Fred Wisecarver “Fred” passed away peacefully on August 24, 2022, at the Serenity House in Morristown surrounded by his family. Fred was born March 27, 1938, in Mohawk, TN. He was married to Lois Thompson Wisecarver for 54 years. He enjoyed farming and “working out” with his friends at St. Luke’s. He retired from BASF and Lenzing Fibers and finished his career with Southern Waste Services.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lois Ernestine Thompson Wisecarver; parents, Mary Lou Derry Wisecarver Sparks (C.D) and Hedrick Wisecarver of Mohawk; sister, Janice Wisecarver Stroud and brother Jack Earnest Wisecarver; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Smith Wisecarver, Nina Wisecarver, and Thelma Wisecarver; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, J.B. Thompson and Mary Sam Rouse Thompson Rynak; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Maxine (Thompson) Morrison, and granddaughter, Whitney Lynne Wisecarver.
He is survived by his children, Mark (Letsa Wright) Wisecarver; Jeffery (Peggy Capps) Wisecarver; grandchildren, Cody (Megan Medley) Wisecarver and Mason Wisecarver; great-grandson, Wyatt Lane Wisecarver; brothers, Clyde Wisecarver of Wilmington, NC, Junior Wisecarver of Salisbury, NC, and brother-in-law, Marvin Stroud of Mohawk, TN.; many special nieces, nephews, and good friend of the family, Sharon Wolfe Broyles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Morristown Rescue Squad in memory of Fred (420 N. Jackson Street, Morristown, TN. 37814).
Graveside services are planned for 10:00 am Monday, August 29, 2022, in Hamblen Memory Gardens with Reverend James Williams officiating.
