Charles "Bruce" Hayes

Charles “Bruce” Hayes, 63, went to be with Lord on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Serenity House in Morristown, TN. He was a long-time member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was a beloved father, brother, and papaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Josephine Hayes; and, special cousin, Matt “Rooster” Matthews.

Survivors include his daughters, Katrina Hayes and Jessica (Samuel) Gaultney; grandchildren, Ellanora, Lillian, and William Gaultney; sister, Mary (Albert) Bryant; brothers, Michael (Mary Lou) Hayes and Bobby Hayes; special cousins, Carol Matthews and Amy Greene; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7pm with Reverend Dr. Kenny Boling officiating. Graveside services will be held 11am Friday, October 20, 2023, in Mount Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Mohawk, TN.
